Building on its historic roots, LaSalle Lofts will also feature a ceramic mural consisting of black and white photos illustrating the work ethic that has built the San Pedro waterfront community. It will be designed by photojournalist Slobodan Dimitrov, known for his Body of Labor Photographs, that documented the changing face of the American worker in the blue collar communities that surround the Port of Los Angeles. The mural will be located on the 7th Street facade of the adjacent parking garage.

The 26 residential loft condominiums will range in size from 780 to 1,510 square feet, and the four proposed live/work loft units will range from 1,500 to 1,825 square feet. Upper units will include customizable walk-in closets, pre-wiring for high-speed Internet access, high definition television services, and energy-efficient lighting and appliances.

Kitchens will include granite countertops, hardwood cabinets, and energy-saving stainless steel appliances. Great Rooms will be designed with eco-friendly bamboo floors and all bathrooms will have large stone showers.

The two retail/office condominiums
are also available, and will range in size from 520 to 710 square feet for your stand alone business.

La Salle Lofts will be offered for purchase through the government insured FHA loan program, which now features higher non-jumbo loan amounts.

FHA financing provides new homebuyers with more flexible credit and income qualifying terms than conventional financing. Cash down payment requirements are also much lower, i.e., as little as 3.5% down.

LaSalle Lofts is located at 255 W. 7th St. in downtown San Pedro, two blocks west of the San Pedro Harbor. Furnished models will be completed in April.
